Small, unreliable companies will stop returning phone calls as it gets closer to the time of your event. Make sure you're happy with the customer service of the company that you decide to use from the very beginning. How you're treated at the beginning of the process is a good indication of how much integrity your chosen company has.

4) What type of inflatables does the company offer? Many rental companies rent bounce houses, or water slides. However, larger, more reputable companies will rent combo units that include both a jumping surface and a sliding surface. These inflatables cost more to buy, so many smaller companies can't purchase these types of units. But, renting a combo unit will give your guests twice the entertainment and hours of sliding and jumping fun.

5) How's the heat? Summer is here ... and it's hot! The material on bounce house rentals can get extremely hot during the summer time, which can easily detract from the fun of your party rental. Don't Get Lost

Make sure that you print a good map to your rental location. Do not hesitate to contact the client and confirm your directions if you are at all unfamiliar with the location. You do not want to get yourself off on the wrong foot by getting lost. Always leave for a job with a full charge on your cell phone, just in case.

Give Yourself Plenty of Time

Arriving a bit early is a good way to give your client piece of mind. You never know what sort of challenges you might run into and when you give yourself a little extra time, you will be able to eliminate any possibility of stress.

Order of Business

When you arrive, be sure to find the person in charge, or the person who is renting your bounce house. Introduce yourself and be sure to ask them what they had in mind for the set up location. You will not want to assume the set up location without a discussion with the client unless it is clearly indicated on the reservation form. But even then a clear confirmation is always a good idea.

Inspection is Important

You will want to have a good assessment of the location where you will place your bounce get more info house. Remember there are things to consider that your client may not realize. Look for a flat space that will be large enough, and you will want to avoid low hanging branches or phone lines. Try to stay within 50 feet of the outlet, but be prepared just in case with extra cord. Make sure you have your cords secured, so no one will trip over them.

Once you have the bounce house set up, do a walk around with your client to insure that the unit is in acceptable condition and that there are no safety issues. Point out any stakes or sand bags that you have placed to secure the unit. Signing off on this is a good business practice. Make sure that they are aware that the blower must stay turned on in order for the bounce house to remain inflated.

If you are not attending the event, make sure your client knows the importance of adult supervision. Do not just assume that they will know all of this. Be sure to ask your client if they have any questions and make it a good business practice to get them to sign off on their clarity.

Good Customer Relations

You will want to keep in mind that often times your client will be stressed out do to the nature of producing an event or party. You will help your client by being the calm one.

Make sure that you are clear on the pick up time and give them a little extra time to clear out all of the attendees. This will also make your job easier not to have to fight your way through a crowd and will also help you to avoid any parking issues.
